Armin Rath, PhD

Dr. Rath has extensive experience in general management, sales and marketing, medical affairs, and market access. He has held the positions of Managing Director for Shionogi in Germany and Spain, General Manager for Germany at Archimedes Pharma – a private equity backed company – and Business Unit Director with full P&L responsibility at Baxter.

Armin started his career at Pharmacia (now Pfizer) in sales and then as key account manager responsible for hospital contract negotiations and Head of Pricing. Armin holds a PhD from the department of oncology and hematology of the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany and pursued further research at the Children’s Hospital. He has published in the British Journal of Hematology and presented at the American Society of Hematology.
